What products does Protein Snack Shop offer?

Protein Snack Shop offers a growing collection of handcrafted and bake-at-home desserts, including high-protein cookies, brownies and blondies, specialty bakery items, and our new line of cheesecake and dessert mixes.

We also introduce limited releases, seasonal flavors, and specialty products throughout the year, so our selection may change from time to time.

What happened to your cheesecakes and cheesecake bars?

Our finished cheesecakes and cheesecake bars are currently unavailable for nationwide shipping.

Shipping a delicate refrigerated cheesecake—especially during warmer months—can be challenging, and we would rather temporarily pause a product than ship something we aren’t confident will arrive the way we intended.

That’s also one of the reasons we developed our bake-at-home cheesecake mixes: you get the Protein Snack Shop experience while making a fresh cheesecake right in your own kitchen.

Finished cheesecakes and cheesecake bars may return as shipping conditions and seasonal temperatures allow.

What are your bake-at-home cheesecake mixes?

Our cheesecake mixes are designed to take much of the guesswork out of making a great cheesecake at home.

Each mix contains the carefully measured dry ingredients you need to create your cheesecake. You add the fresh ingredients listed in the directions, follow along with our instructions, and bake it in your own kitchen.

It’s homemade cheesecake without having to start from scratch.

Do you provide baking instructions for your mixes?

Absolutely. Our mixes include preparation instructions, and select products also include access to step-by-step guidance with Dana.

We want you to know exactly what to do—not simply hand you a bag of mix and wish you luck.

Are all Protein Snack Shop products gluten-free?

No. Not every Protein Snack Shop product is gluten-free.

We offer a number of gluten-free products, including select mixes and bakery items, but some products—such as many of our cookies—contain wheat.

Products that are gluten-free will be identified individually. Always review the product description, ingredient statement, and allergen information before purchasing if you need to avoid gluten.

Are your products high in protein?

Many of them are.

Protein has been part of Protein Snack Shop from the beginning, and many of our desserts are intentionally formulated with more protein than you would typically expect from a bakery treat.

Are your products sugar-free?

Some are, but not all.

For example, select bake-at-home mixes may be formulated without sugar, while our traditional bakery products may contain sugar or other sweeteners.

We believe the clearest approach is to tell you exactly what is in each product rather than make one claim for everything we sell. Check the individual product page for ingredients and nutrition information.

Do you use seed oils?

We formulate our Protein Snack Shop-made products without seed oils.

For products from other makers that may be offered through our curated marketplace, ingredients can vary. Please refer to the individual product’s ingredient statement for complete information.

What sweeteners do you use?

It depends on the product.

Different recipes call for different ingredients, and our traditional bakery products and bake-at-home mixes are not necessarily sweetened the same way.

What allergens are present in your products?

Are Protein Snack Shop products made in small batches?

Yes. Small-batch production is an important part of how we approach our bakery products and mixes.

Storage depends on the product.

Shelf-stable mixes should be kept sealed in a cool, dry place until you’re ready to use them. Cookies, brownies, blondies, and other bakery products should be stored according to the directions included with the product.

Can I freeze your bakery products?

Many of our baked products freeze very well.

Dry baking mixes generally do not need to be frozen and should instead be stored according to the package directions.

How long do your products stay fresh?

Shelf life varies considerably between freshly baked products and our shelf-stable mixes.

Do you ship nationwide?

Yes. We ship eligible Protein Snack Shop products throughout the United States.
